If you are in an area that is without a tackle store that stocks our lures send us an email and a contact number and I will get in touch with some information on how you can get hold of our spinnerbaits. We are only a month away from August which will see some great fishing around the edges of St. Clair and Glenbawn with the spinnerbaits. Last year we had a terrific August so hopefully this will happen again. Don't expect big numbers of fish but expect BIG fish. Email us at info@secretcreek.com.au for further information if you are going to be in the Hunter Valley during August. |

Nearly There
Please stay with us we are nearly there. This website is nearly fully functional. Our website designer (Jack) has been a champion and could have had this site finished a hundred times over but Ben and myself have been very busy with the spinnerbaits and have not given young Jack all the information he needs to fully complete the site. We have however found some extra time and hopefully will be able to give Jack all he needs in the next week or so. We hope to provide a website of interest to all who love to fish and look forward to input from our visitors and customers. For those of you who are thinking about your own website, you should contact Jack for a price and to see if he can help you. He is knowledgable, quick to post any information he is supplied and most importantly, very patient. We are computer morons and could not have ever attempted to launch our site without the help, professionalism, and prompting from young Jack. We didn't know where to start. He knew where to start, how to finish and everything in between. Anyway, hopefully we will be fully up and running in the next week or so, please enjoy our site and please if you have any questions or need further information contact us by phone, post or through the email and we will do our best to help you.
Many Regards, Mick |

Murray Cod on Secret Creek Lures
Testing of Secret Creek Spinnerbaits took us to Ashford in northern NSW to target Murray Cod. Many thanks goes to Tub Gainey for showing us some incredible fishing. I caught my first ever Murray Cod on lure with a 54cm fish after about 20 minutes fishing. Tub caught and released another 2 cod before I got my second fish, a big fella of 90cm and 60cm in girth. Maybe someone can give me some feedback on cod weight estimates but Tub thought it would be close to 30 pounds. I went on to catch another 6 cod and a yellow belly in an afternoons fishing I will never forget. All fish were caught on Gold/Smoke and Purple/Blue/Black Secret Creek Cod Blade Spinnerbaits. We are hoping to have some photos of these fish soon. Our camera got wet (exciting times saw neglect of camera care) and so did the film but the photo shop seems to think that if we leave the film for a week or two it may dry out and be able to be developed. We can only hope. |
